Noise Pollution from Telecom Towers

Because of   few public interest litigations. Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) has decided to inspect telecom towers.

According to Standards , ”Seventy-five decibels at one-metre distance is the safe standard set by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and we have to verify if the levels exceed the limit. We use a noise sampler to measure the decibel level against the backdrop of routine noise of traffic and market place.
